Most transactions can be cleared without opening them. In the Needs Review table, each row is one transaction and most fields are editable in place.

What each row shows

A sparkle icon marks anything the AI filled in. To change a prediction, open the Type or Ledger dropdown in that row and pick the right one. Whatever you set saves against the transaction. There is no separate screen to open.

Voucher numbers

Leave Voucher No. on Auto-generated if your voucher type in Tally uses automatic numbering. Tally assigns the number at sync and the field stays non-editable. If your Tally voucher is set to manual numbering, type the number here.

Add the columns you need

Click Columns to open Show/Hide Columns and switch on what you work with: GST Registration, Bank Allocation, Voucher No., Cost Centre, Cheque/Instrument No., Supplier/Reference No., and Amount. These are not view-only. GST Registration, Voucher Number, Cheque or instrument number, Cost Centre, and Bank Allocation can all be filled and reviewed from the table, including setting a cost centre at header level without opening the transaction.

The bill-by-bill rule

If you pick a customer or vendor ledger that is maintained bill by bill, the full amount posts on account against that party. It is not matched to a specific bill. That is fine for quick categorisation. Open the transaction at ledger level when you need to allocate bill by bill, split one entry across several ledgers, or assign cost centres line by line.

Filter and sort

Every column header has a funnel to filter and arrows to sort. Filter to one voucher type, one ledger, or a date range to bring similar transactions together and clear them in one pass.

Mark a row Accounting Ready

When a row is complete, with the type set, the ledger assigned, GST registration where you track it, and a voucher number if your Tally needs one, click the check in the Reviewed column. That transaction moves to the Accounting Ready tab. If something is missing, AI Accountant tells you what to complete first.
