Upload a PDF bank statement from any Indian bank. Get a clean Excel or CSV file with date, narration, debit, credit and balance in separate columns. Free, no sign-up, and your file never leaves your browser.
Built for digital PDF statements from HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, Canara, Bank of Baroda, PNB, Union Bank and other Indian banks. Password-protected PDFs supported.
Generic PDF converters treat a bank statement like any table. They merge narration into amount columns, drop rows that wrap across pages, and leave you re-typing half the sheet. This tool is built for bank statements only.
Generic tools often dump both into one Amount column with no sign.
If the balance does not reconcile, the row is flagged. You know where to look before you post anything.
Page headers are skipped and rows that break across pages are stitched, not duplicated or dropped.
Long UPI and NEFT narrations stay readable, not split across three columns.
Dates are saved as Excel dates, so 03-04-2026 stays 3 April and sorting and filters work.
The PDF is converted in your browser and never uploaded to our servers.
The converter recognises statements from these banks and picks up the bank name and account number from the statement header. If your bank is not listed, upload anyway. It reads any statement that has a date column, a balance column and debit, credit or amount columns.

Most Indian banks lock statement PDFs. When you upload a locked file, the converter asks for the password and opens the file in your browser. The password is never sent to our servers.
Not sure of the password? Banks usually build it from your name, date of birth or customer ID. The email that came with the statement explains the exact format.
The converter reads digital PDFs, the kind you download from net banking or receive by email. A scan or photo has no selectable text, so the converter will tell you it cannot read the file. Download the statement from net banking and try again.
The Excel file keeps date, narration, debit, credit and balance in separate columns with real dates and numbers, so you can map it into your Tally import template or use it for bank reconciliation without cleaning it first.
If you are posting bank entries into Tally every month, you are doing by hand what AI Accountant does automatically: it reads the statement, matches each line to the right ledger and posts the voucher. See how AI Accountant handles bank entries

No. The converter reads digital PDFs downloaded from net banking or received by email. Scans and photos have no selectable text, so download the statement from net banking instead.
Every row is checked against the running balance: the previous balance minus the debit plus the credit must equal the balance printed on that row. Rows that do not match are highlighted, and the result shows how many rows matched, so you know exactly what to review.
Yes, if they are in one PDF. A multi-page statement covering several months converts into one file. Separate PDFs are converted one at a time.
The Excel file has date, narration, debit, credit and balance in separate columns, so you can map it into your Tally import template or use it for bank reconciliation. If you want bank entries posted to Tally automatically, AI Accountant does that for you.

Upload it anyway. The converter reads any statement that has a date column, a balance column and debit, credit or amount columns. If it cannot find these, it tells you instead of producing a wrong file.
