# Welcome

> AI Accountant works alongside your Tally company. Here is how the modules fit together and where to start.

AI Accountant reads your Tally books, extracts data from the documents you upload, and writes finished vouchers back to Tally once you approve them. Nothing reaches your books without your say-so.
