# What is AIA Bot

> What AIA Bot does on WhatsApp, who it is for, and what it does not handle yet.

AIA Bot brings two things from AI Accountant onto WhatsApp: uploading a bill, and asking a question about your books.

Send a photo and it is extracted the same way as an upload in Accounts Payable, ready for review. Ask a question and the answer comes from your synced Tally data, as your books stand right now.

## What It Can Do

## Who It Is For

AIA Bot is for anyone who wants a number from their books without waiting on someone else. Ask "what's my outstanding receivables" or "what do I owe my suppliers" and get an answer in about 10 seconds, day or night, in English or Hindi.

It is also the fastest way to get a bill into AI Accountant. Click a photo, or forward what a supplier already sent you on WhatsApp, and it is booked and ready for review in under 10 seconds. No re-typing what you already have.

## What It Does Not Handle Yet

* Answers reflect the latest data synced from Tally, not real-time entries.
* You are currently limited to 10 companies on one WhatsApp number. Support for more is coming in a later phase.
* Naming a company directly inside another question, instead of starting a switch first, is also coming later.
* Sales invoices and bank statements are not supported yet on WhatsApp. Use Upload invoices from Excel and Upload a bank statement for those.
